Prison Ministry is one of important work for this Diocese. There are so many people in prison in Khartoum than any state of the Sudan. Women instituing the bigger number.
Chaplain
The Revd. Canon Othaniel Khamis Ruba is the Cahplain and responsible for this ministry and he has a team of people who work with him. Visits are dane on daily basis where by the prayers and bible study are conducted. There are many who get into prison but they come out of it well reformed their lives.
Every Christmas, celebration is carried out for the prsioners and they feel the prsence of the Lord. Few gifts are given to them.

Confirmation Service
The Bishop will be conducting confirmation service in the Parish of Soura 54 on Sunday 18th March 2007
Election for new bishops in ECS
The Bishop of the Diocese of Khartoum will participate in the forth coming elections for the new bishops in 3 dioceses of Ezo, Kajo-Keji and Torit. It will take place between 23rd and 28th March 2007. The election will be followed by House of Bishops Meeting. Both events wil take place in Juba.
Diocesan Synod Meeting
Diocesan Synod for the Diocesa of Khartoum will meet in the first week of October 2007. With the
increase of two more archdeaconries, it means the number of people attending the synod meeting will increase. It has to be noted that the former archdeaconry of East Nile has been divided into two and is to be Khartoum North and Atbra archdeaconries repectively. Also Gezira Archdeaconry has been divided into two to be known Medani and Damazin archdeaconries respectively.
